Django Django @ The Old Market

Django Django, the critically acclaimed four-piece band based in Dalston, east London (where else?), are coming to The Old Market on Monday 29th October. Quickly establishing itself as one of the best music venues in Brighton, The Old Market is the perfect place to see this hotly tipped band, who released their self-titled debut album Django Django back in January.

They recently appeared at The Great Escape and have been hailed by everyone from The Guardian’s Alexis Petridis to Jools Holland. There are also numerous festival appearances lined up for the summer.

They’ve been compared to Hot Chip, the Beach Boys, Rolling Stones and the Beta Band – this was always inevitable as bandleader David Maclean is the younger brother of the Beta Band’s John Maclean. With their out-there videos, east London-inspired fashion and well-written, hypnotic songs, Django Django are bringing psychedelia back to a new generation – and we like it, a lot.

One Inch Badge is promoting the gig, and tickets go on sale tomorrow, available from The Old Market, Resident Music and Rounder Records. You can also purchase pre-sale tickets at Tickets will fly out the door, so get them quick.
