If, like us, you enjoy rummaging around flea markets, car boot sales, antique fairs, jumble sales and all things old and granny like, you’ll thank us for telling you about a new event coming to Brighton next week.
The Pop-Up Den will be taking over upstairs at the Open House pub in Springfield Road, Brighton, from 6th to 8th July, offering vintage lovers a veritable treasure trove of homewares, bric-a-brac, china, one-off pieces of furniture, antiques, gifts and children’s clothing courtesy of Brighton’s Dinky Vintage.
Sophie Boulderstone, Alex Crown and Ann Newsham are the women behind the new venture, each with a passion for all things vintage. While you’re there, you can talk to them about sourcing items for your home, shop or business. So if you’ve always wanted to get your hands on an original Ercol daybed, but don’t know where to find one, they can help.
It’s free to get in, and is also the perfect excuse to enjoy a cheeky half and spot of lunch in the bar (or vast garden if it’s sunny) after blowing your monthly budget on gorgeous items for your home. What’s not to love?
Upstairs @ The Open House, 146 Springfield Road, Brighton, BN1 6BZ. Map.
Friday 6th to Sunday 8th July, 12 to 5pm daily.
